Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you are spending the holiday in Barcelona this year, you are in luck! Barcelona is a beautiful, romantic city, perfect for spending quality time with your love. And don’t fret if you will be riding solo this year, these are all great places to meet new people, spend time with friends or just enjoy being alone.

Planning the perfect Valentine’s Day can be quite daunting. OneCoWork always wants to help make your day less stressful, so we came up with five Valentine’s Day plans that will not disappoint.

La Boqueria

Take a walk down Las Ramblas and stop at La Boqueria for some chocolate covered strawberries, flowers and a bottle of wine. Walk around, see what all of the vendors have to offer and pick out some ingredients to make dinner at home together.

Cava Tasting

Nothing says romance like a little bubbly! Head over to a Cava Restaurant in the city or take a Winery Tour to enjoy this delicious Catalan sparkling wine.

Flamenco

Dance is such a wonderful way to connect with your partner. Learning the sultry dance of flamenco is a fun and different experience to try out this Valentine’s Day and it will definitely bring you and your partner closer together. If you don’t feel ready to break out your dancing shoes, going to see a Flamenco show will still be a wonderful night.

Cooking Class

Everyone loves someone that can cook. Learn how to make Barcelona classics and enjoy a meal together at the end. There are several places around the city that offer cooking classes and you can even find some on Airbnb experience.

Fall in love with Barcelona

What better way to celebrate a day of love than exploring this amazing city? Pack a picnic basket and head to the Bunkers to watch the sunset or take a cable car to Montjuic. Barcelona has so much to offer that we often forget about so don’t overlook sightseeing for a lowkey and cheaper option.

We hope everyone has a lovely Valentine’s Day in Barcelona! Be sure to let us know if you decide to do one of our suggested ideas.
