Meet OneCoWork Member Erica Soler, a social and behavioral research consultant and Mexico native here to share with us a little more about her hobbies, career path, and more!
Hola, Erica! Tell us a little about you and your interests.
I was born in Mexico City and grew up in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I moved to Philadelphia in the US for grad school, then to NYC where I lived for 8 years before relocating to Barcelona in 2016.
I have always enjoyed playing backgammon and chess. I have recently taken up playing ping pong in Barcelona’s public tables. I love strolling around the city and discovering new spots.
Share a little bit about your career journey…
I never really knew what I wanted to do… I took opportunities as they were presented to me. When the job was no longer challenging or enjoyable, it was time for a change.
I am a social & behavioral research consultant. I design research and impact evaluation studies, analyze data and write reports and papers. I am currently working on studies in Kenya, Malawi, Zambia and Nepal.
