In the spotlight this week is Dorota Walkarz, an architect whose love for interior design and 3D visualisations started from being a LEGO enthusiast as a kid.
Hola Dorota, tell us about yourself?
I was born in Szczecin, Poland. It's a beautiful place to live just next to the west border of Poland, a two-hour drive from Berlin.
What do you do for fun?
I really enjoy swimming and used to be a professional swimmer for half my life. More recently, I've swapped the swimming pool for gym life.
I also love drawing. At the moment I’m into digital drawing and it has been an exciting experience.
Sightseeing, walking around the city and taking tons of pictures are some of the other things that give me joy.
When did you first fall in love with design?
For as long as I can remember, I have always been into architecture and interior designing. As a young child I used to build LEGO houses; now I am an architect. Who would have known?
What do you do now?
For now, I design interiors and create 3D visualisation for other architects or real estate developers.
